Travel through time with Suggesting Rhythm in 2026 as we celebrate the evolution of the music of Grateful Dead & Post-Garcia Projects (1965-2025) — from the psychedelic 60s to the modern era. Each night spotlights a different decade and era of the Dead. Capturing the sound, spirit, and improvisation that defined generations. We'll follow along with the evolution of the band and post bands that continued after the death of Jerry Garcia.

Suggesting Rhythm is a five-piece band from Richmond, VA, celebrating 10 years of bringing the music of The Grateful Dead to life with their unique charm and style. Founded in 2015, the group features Steve Barnard, Ed Bray, Adam Drudge, David Oakley, and Jeff Rothman. For a decade, Suggesting Rhythm has been a staple of the RVA music scene and beyond, captivating audiences with their heartfelt renditions of Grateful Dead classics.
